Custom Return-to-Work Rehabilitation
Every job is unique, so your injury recovery should be, too. We will customize every aspect of your treatment plan. From reducing initial inflammation, providing manual therapy to the area, and finally re-strengthening and re-training the injured area in a way that will allow you to perform your tasks effectively and safely once you return to work.
Work Conditioning Programs
Some physicians and employers want their employees to take their time to physically prepare the body to return to work. Our work conditioning physical therapy programs will help increase your flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, and musculoskeletal function so you are able to complete the work-required tasks you were able to perform prior to your injury.
Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)
After a workers’ compensation claim has been filed, it is possible you may be medically ordered to receive a functional capacity evaluation, or FCE. This order may come from your physician, or from the lawyer, employer, or insurance company at some point towards the end of therapy or when deemed necessary. The FCE helps determine what work you are and are not able to safely perform after an injury to help outline your responsibilities when you return to work. Your clinician can perform the FCE and provide a thorough assessment for all necessary parties.
Pre-Employment Screenings
To prevent employees from becoming injured and having to file workers’ compensation claims, some companies may request a pre-employment screening after you’ve been hired. These screenings are customized to the job’s responsibilities to ensure you are physically able to perform the tasks that are regularly necessary. Our therapists are experienced in conducting these screenings safely and accurately so you can rest assured knowing you are prepared for the job.
If you have been injured on the job, your company also may require you to complete a pre-employment screening to ensure you are able to perform tasks safely before you return.
